The Prayer of Salvation

Please note: The prayer of Salvation below is a sample prayer to follow when asking Jesus to come into your life. Remember you can talk to God with your own words using the sample as a guide.

Prayer for Salvation:

Heavenly Father, I come to you in the name of Jesus. I know that I have sinned against you and I am sorry for doing so. Thank you for sending your Son to die on the cross for my sins and for raising Him from the dead so that my sins may be forgiven through Him. Please come into my heart and life as my Lord and Savior. Take control of my life and teach me to be more like you. Thank you for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life. Amen.

Note Well: When you prayed this prayer if you meant it then you were saved. Salvation is a gift from God that you only need to accept.Congratulations on your decision to put your life in God's hands.
